A simple agenda for your next community meeting
A reusable agenda for associations, clubs, and family committees, with a clear follow-up plan.
In this guide
Keep the first agenda small
Choose the decisions that actually need everyone in the room. Share background documents beforehand, and give each agenda item a person responsible for introducing it.
Copy this 30-minute agenda
Adjust these timings to fit your group. The aim is to leave with clear decisions and owners.
- 5 minutes — Welcome, attendance, and the purpose of the meeting.
- 5 minutes — Review actions from the last meeting.
- 10 minutes — Discuss the main proposal and make a decision.
- 5 minutes — Agree on tasks, owners, and dates.
- 5 minutes — Recap decisions and confirm the next meeting.
Put the agenda into Nyocte
Create a group using the Association or club setup. Open the group's Meetings area to schedule the meeting and prepare its agenda. Invite members, and share the documents they should review.
Use the group's attendance, minutes, and voting tools as appropriate. A vote should have a clear question and agreed rules before members participate.
Make follow-up visible
Record the decision and any open questions in the minutes. Create follow-up tasks with owners and dates. At the next meeting, begin by checking those actions instead of reconstructing the previous discussion from chat.
