For civic groups and community advocates

Follow the commitment. Keep the evidence.

Track policies and commitments with the responsible agency, target dates, milestones, and updates your group can review together.

Policy tracking is an optional group tool. A group manager enables it in Settings when available for the group.

Your starting point

01Record what was promised.

02Follow the milestones.

03Show what each update is based on.

01

Record what was promised.

Add the policy title, responsible agency, description, and target date. Link the original source or a specific version of a group document.

02

Follow the milestones.

Break the work into milestones and record progress, completion, or blockers. Keep policy status and target dates visible to your group.

03

Show what each update is based on.

Distinguish official reports from community observations. Attach source links or document versions so members can review the evidence behind an update.

Before you start

A few useful details.

Does Nyocte automatically monitor government websites?

No. Your group creates the records and adds updates and evidence. This is a shared tracking workspace, not an automatic policy news feed.

How do we enable policy tracking?

Create or open a group, then go to Settings → Group tools. A member with settings permission can enable Policy tracking when access is available. Open it through Documents → Policy tracking.

What happens if the tool is turned off?

Turning the tool off pauses new activity. Existing records remain available for review. Access can also depend on platform availability or the group's access status.
